The power of the spoken word

I'm on a mission.  A little over two years ago, a person in my life started to lose his sight.  This is something that hits home with me more than a normal person, because as a child I learned that I needed glasses, and my eyesight, all through childhood, was extremely nearsighted.  I could not function without glasses and would prepare myself for the possibility of losing my eyesight altogether.  Being an avid reader as well, this person in my life was in danger of getting depressed and withdrawn.  I introduced audio books to him and that filled the missing part.  As his library grew, we began to find a deficiency of books he wanted.  This is where I decided to narrate, and I'm on a mission to narrate those books that he wants to hear.  To keep him with me for as long as possible, for I am his eyes, his caretaker, and his son.
