September 2020 Audio Ventures
Here we are in September already!
In addition to everything below, I’ve continued to work with Shannon Parks on fiction narration, and I also produced an online Shakespeare workshop with veteran and rookie actors! No moss growing over here.
And as we all continue to avoid crowds, I headed to southern Utah last week with my fiance Sharon for Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks to get out into the open air! Such beautiful landscape: everywhere I looked, it felt like I was in a Hollywood western!
Audiobooks releases: Haboob Wind (military suspense/thriller) by Tommy Anderson and A Beginner's Meditation Course (starting with just 30 seconds) by me! Happy to have both of these out there. The meditation book is now in all formats, and it's been a rewarding journey to get to this point. Feedback has been very positive too.
Currently narrating: Icy Cape by my grandfather about his experiences on the Distant Early Warning Line on the northern coast of Alaska during the Cold War. Check out these 1960s photos from that area!
The "voice" of a new podcast: you'll hear me welcome you to The Empathy Edge, hosted by speaker and author Maria Ross
Performance tips for authors: I'll be presenting an online workshop to the Maryland Writers Association on November 7th!
Upcoming fiction: after Icy Cape, there are two more books in the queue—first, an adventure story based on actual events during the Civil War, and then a romance that leads to a male couple as the President and First Spouse in the White House!
More ahead! Be well and keep in touch!
