Description
About Angelo

Whether through music or narrating, Angelo Di Loreto always strives to tell a great story. Angelo is a Buffalo-born, NYC-based audiobook narrator and musician with over 125 titles recorded to date. He is honored to be a 2019 SOVAS Award Nominee for "The Murmur of Bees" (Sofia Segovia) and "Irish Girl: Stories," (Tim Johnston), both co-narrated with friend and colleague Xe Sands. Having acted in many plays while growing up, both both in school and Western NY youth theater while simultaneously playing piano and composing, he has since narrated many titles for various publishers since 2013, after deciding he wanted ... more to seek a way to bring acting back into his life. Angelo has a particular affinity for literary fiction, historical fiction, memoirs, sports books, and WWII-based fiction and nonfiction. From 2008-2013, Angelo attended the prestigious Manhattan School of Music from 2008-2013. He maintains a parallel career as a pianist and composer, mostly in jazz and improvised music, and tours frequently with the jazz trio he is a member of. One major career goal he has is to provide original music and narration to audiobooks or multicast audio dramas, whether with songs or an original score. less
