I trained as an actor in NYC with William Esper with speech and dialect training with Timothy Monich, I grew up in Montreal speaking both English and French so my French accent is authentic, and I have studied Spanish and Italian, so have an excellent ear for languages and accents. Prior to starting my voiceover business, I ran an interior design and renovation business, won design awards in Canada, the US and UK, wrote a book on kitchen renovation and design, had my work published in coffee table books and myriad magazines, was a frequent keynote speaker at home and trade shows, private events, as well as numerous appearances on TV Décor shows and radio programs. I wrote and hosted my own podcast based on my book, Renovation Bootcamp: Kitchen, and wrote and voiced a series of green living spots for radio in Texas and a renovation Q&A series for a radio station in Canada.
