Born in one corner of the US near Portland (the other Portland, in Maine) I've traveled to the Pacific, the US Southwest, Europe, Ireland and the Caribbean looking for experiences and stories. Stories are my passion and my joy - and I am fortunate enough to spend every day with them. My array of life experiences - everything from teaching SCUBA to shoeing horses, from server administration to being a working EMT - give me a curiosity for so many things, and a versatility in picking up new concepts quickly.
